Social Studio – connecting Facebook and Instagram
If you connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account to Writor’s Social Studio, Meta shares the following with us, with your permission:
- the name, ID and username of each Facebook Page and Instagram account you manage;
- an access token that lets Writor publish on your behalf, and the list of permissions you granted;
- the IDs and links of the posts Writor publishes for you, and any error messages returned.
We use this data only to show your connected accounts and to publish and schedule the posts you create in Social Studio, and to show you whether each post was published. We don’t read your messages, followers or other content, we don’t use this data for advertising, and we don’t sell it. It is shared only with Meta, to publish your posts, and with our hosting provider (Bubble), which stores it. Access tokens are stored on our servers and are never shown in your browser or to other users.
When you disconnect an account in Social Studio, we delete its access token immediately. To have the rest deleted (account names and post history), email support@writor.ai and we’ll do so within 30 days.
